He then rose to prominence as managing editor of Foreign Affairs before becoming editor of Newsweek International and a columnist for Time. His books, including ‘The Post-American World’ and ’In Defense of a Liberal Education’, explore global power shifts and cultural trends. As host of CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS, he engages world leaders and thinkers, offering sharp insights from his base in New York City.
